A Private Journal with Artist Shida Kuo

It is said that art is the cure of all ailments. As the weakened economy continues to worry the markets, NYTFA invites you to a refreshening evening with an eminent artist trained in Taiwan, Mr. Shida Kuo.

Shida is widely acclaimed for his lush and thought-provoking 2-D and sculpture works exploring offbeat forms and materials, and combining new ideas with old techniques. His works have been exhibited all over the world, and collected by museums and private collectors worldwide. Shida also teaches at NYU.

We are grateful that the Nancy Margolis Gallery has geneously offered to host this event. The Gallery is currently exhibiting Shida's works through 4/11. (http://www.nancymargolisgallery.com) Shida will use slides to take us through a journey of his art world.
